Top Hotel Hammer - Mainz Hauptbahnhof

It was just a good match for a transient stop in Mainz with great value for money. The fast wifi connection made it easy to plan my travel while relaxing in the cozy room. If you're in town for just a night, this place works well.

the venue is stylish and modern with pleasant staff. the location is central. a train station is placed next to the building.

We had a very very good stay on a Friday or Saturday.

Everything was well-maintained during our stay. Location: the hotel was just off other attractions, Mainz's old town and Mainz's main transportation hub. Moreover, it was at a walking distance from a playful fountain. Everyone from the staff was really helpful and affable.

The penthouse room was spacious and well laid out, with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The staff were helpful, assisting with our river cruise arrangements and providing a good breakfast experience with plenty of options. I loved using the sauna after a day of sightseeing, a relaxing touch to the stay.

extremely comfy bed, good size bathroom and a minibar, satellite television and climate control in the room. perfect and excellent location in mainz really close to other attractions, the plaza, and the main train station in mainz. also, to the st stephan church.

The hotel is literally across the street from Mainz Hauptbahnhof, providing easy access to both trains and trams. My room was decorated beautifully, well-equipped with air conditioning, a minibar, and premium bedding. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the German heatwave, and the staff was accommodating, even offering to stash my luggage before check-in.

Close to station for connection to airport. Excellent choice of food and pleasant staff at breakfast. Free Wi-fi. Good all round value, would definately stay again.

Difficulty getting heavy case to 6th floor as lift stops at 5th floor but the room made up for this small inconvenience.

The Comfort Double Room was well decorated with quality linen and a super comfy bed. We left with a bottle of water each, a nice touch. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in that heatwave, and the staff were very pleasant!

Proximity of the main station is an advantage for travelling by train and use of local transport. Despite the live outside traffic the room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast.

Clean, friendly, good breakfast and good value. Excellent location next to rail station with S Bahn connections to Frankfurt, the Airport, Wiesbaden etc... Ten minute walk to the Old Town Mainz. Great lay-over for traveling through Frankfurt

Clean and quiet room

A good modern hotel less than 50 metres from Mainz main station. We do not usually stay in such locations but we were only in the city for one day before travelling on. An excellent hotel with helpful staff and good breakfast. The sound proofing and air conditioning combined to make the room quiet & comfortable temperature-wise. Business orientated but none the worse for that. We would be happy to stay here again for a couple of nights.

I loved staying at the Hammer in Mainz. The location was excellent. the sound proofing at the hotel makes it hard to believe you are just across the street from the train station. It was extremly comfortable and restorative,great value. I look forward to staying again.
